Knorex is thrilled to provide our commitment to support Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA)-led initiative to provide consumers with an effective, privacy-friendly opt-out for interest-based/behavioral advertising (IBA). DAA will soon be rolling out a new user flow inside its AppChoices platform to offer a centralized portal for consumers to opt-out/revoke consent for use of hashed email identifiers for IBA.
AppChoices gives consumers transparency and control over their data used to tailor ads, with participating companies. These enhancements let consumers, limit and revoke their consent on a collection of cross-app data for interest-based ads on their mobile device(s) and are backed by DAA’s independent accountability program.
Knorex is proud to work with DAA alongside other industry leaders to support brand advertisers and their supply chain partners in providing enhanced transparency and control in this new era. California residents can submit requests to step back from the sale of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
As the digital advertising industry continues to evolve, DAA’s vision is to work to ensure that its time-tested Transparency and Control Principles continue to meet consumer and industry requirements, and we at Knorex will continue to provide our strong support and commitment to such industry-wide initiatives to continue the healthy growth of the ad tech ecosystem.
